- Despite being called "The MoonLens", on the magazine cover and table of contents, the title page for the scenario reads "The MoonLens Discover'd"
- Like Marcus L. Rowland's scenario The Surrey Enigma, the Keeper is given the option of having the investigators run into some over inquisitive children and their dog...
- There are two villages called Nibley in Gloucestershire located about 10 miles (16 km) apart, given that the scenario refers to Charfield as the closest station, the author probably meant North Nibley.
